On that note, Dave Farrell (known in game as Dugi and best known for his leveling guide, gold guide, and most recently his WoW daily quests guide) is releasing an in-depth video guide to playing the auction house for maximum profits.  Whatever strategy he’s teaching obviously works, because in the videos he takes a BRAND NEW character from flat broke to 1000 gold in 4 hours.  

Yes, you’re reading that right.  250 gold per hour on a brand new character.  That’s a tough number to achieve on a level 80, let alone a level 1.  As someone who has been using Dugi’s Dailies Guide for a while now (yes, I hate dailies, but I need rep and I don’t want to PUG Heroics so…) I know the guy puts out some quality stuff, so I’m pretty stoked to get my hands on it.

Durotar is my favorite.  It’s huge, and you can go from one end to the other on an epic mount in about 10 minutes.  So what do you do during those 10 minutes?  I like to pull up my favorite WoW mining guide and follow the route for some quick and easy copper ore.  I usually end up with 4 or 5 stacks in 20-30 minutes.  I could probably do it faster, but to balance out my karma I like to occasionally stop and help a newbie polish off a quest or two.

Now I’m not sure about your server, but on mine, copper ore goes for about 20g a stack, sometimes more on weekends.  Anywhere between 80 – 150 gold for 30 mins work?  Sign me up.
